Shiatsu Shin Tai Class - Doylestown, PA
Lynn and Saul Goodman

Who is Shin Tai International?

We are a husband & wife team that practice and teach in Bucks County, PA. Saul Goodman is the developer of Shin Tai and Light Body Activation. He has taught classes throughout Europe and the U.S. for almost 40 years and runs a private practice in Doylestown, PA. Lynn Goodman is also an instructor and practitioner with over 20 years experience. There are over 30 instructors now teaching Shin Tai throughout the states and Europe, and thousands of practitioners around the world.

Saul Goodman

Saul Goodman, the developer of Shin Tai and Shin Tai International,  is the founder and former director of the International School of Shiatsuwhich has branches in over 15 countries. He developed Shin Tai from years of working with the body and discovering the relationship between the body resonance and the flow of life force. Shin Tai offers a unique set of diagnosis and technique to reestablish the proper spatial relationship of the body by activating the client’s own inner force.

Saul is the author of Book of Shiatsu, currently available in 8 languages. He also wrote the advanced bodywork book Shiatsu Shin Tai, which is the main instructional book available for practitioners of Shin Tai. In 1997 the book Light Body Activation was published. It describes vibrational shifts taking place in the current stages of evolution. The book offers dialogue and practices for integrating these shifts and synchronizing our life activities with multidimensional influences.

Lynn Goodman

Lynn Goodman is a Shin Tai practitioner and instructor in practice 25 years. She became involved in touch therapies after years of serious illness. Receiving reflexology treatments changed her life and she immediately began studying in order to heal herself. It organically turned into her livelihood.

She has taught and assisted in classes with Saul for 20 years as well as running her own private practice. Lynn also takes care of website design, administration, the online teaching classroom and the Light Body Activation Podcast.

On a more personal note….

The work we do is not just ‘work,’ it’s a way of life. Throughout each day we’re often engaged in light body activities and bodywork. This may look like sitting quietly working on chakra balancing, giving a family member a treatment, or teaching a class at the shiatsu school up the road. Exploring how consciousness can be used to enhance the health of ourselves, our family and the wider world threads through everything we do.

Much of our time is spent enjoying our children, grandchildren and other family, many of whom live nearby. We both really like to exercise and are always exploring new ways to stay strong and flexible. Saul spends a large part of his time writing songs and playing guitar and Lynn plays fiddle. We each find music a potent way to explore listening, alignment and rhythm. One of our favorite things to do is walk - in the woods, around a town or on the beach. If it can involve some time sitting to do light body work and playing some music together, that’s the best.

Our intention is that these resources support your well-being and creativity, and that this reverberates out to benefit our shared world. The human body is such a wonderful vehicle we can use to learn, explore, travel, interact and create. Most of us have only begun to tap into the potential of our body, and we encourage you to delve deeper into this unique treasure that’s yours to enjoy.

Hope to meet you in this dimension and others as we all continue to learn, grow and develop~
